I came across a thoughtful post by Howard Kingston about growing your network.
Howard writes the blog Startup Remarkable, where he shares valuable tips for entrepreneurs. In his post entitled How to Grow an Awesome Network – Fast, he includes six important ways to build your network.
I enjoyed Howard’s post because he lives by it. At the time of his writing, he had lived in four different cities in twelve months. He tasked himself with finding and growing his network in each town before moving to the next.

I have listed his resources here, but I encourage you to read his full post to learn the specifics for each item.
What have you used successfully to grow your network? Would you add anything to Howard’s list?
